Managed to make it to Sandy Hill life drawing class tonight.  Here are some gestures and drawings.

Blacwin Walkcycle (R/C)

Here is a Walk cycle of the character, Blacwin, I posted a little while back. Haven't had much time to work on this steady, an hour here, an hour there for the past little while. I plan on cleaning it up at my own pace; not sure how long that will take me =). Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Blacwin the Smith

Hey,

Back after a big hiatus. It has been a while since I last created a character so I decided to take a crack at it. Did this a couple of weeks ago in my spare time.

His name is Blacwin. He create's and wields the finest weapons. You are wrong, he is right. Don't cause him any trouble; decades of hard work and battle have made him bitter and short tempered. Should you manage to upset him, a mug or two of moonshine has been known to cheer him up in the past.

Apple Tree Blue Tonal

This is a blue tonal of the apple tree location from my film. I needed this tree to stand out from the rest so I kept that in mind when designing the tree and colouring the bg.

I like the simplicity of this background. I want to thank Diamond Dave and Tom Crook for their input.

Forest P.O.V.

This is a scene from my film that leads to an apple tree which plays a signficant role to the story. I coloured the BG in PS and composed it in Harmony.

Rabbit Hole Interior

Here is a layout from my short film. It is the interior location design of the rabbit hole. I had never really drawn something underground before so I wasn't sure where to start at first. The painting was done in PS.

Change in direction

Hey,

Here is a harmony assignment I did earlier in the year. The main objective was to have the character change the direction they were facing. I decided to have her step forward then lead with her hip.

Forest Establishing Shot

This is the opening establishing pan I use in the current short film I am working on. We didn't get many chances to draw the exterior BG's. I'd like to thank "Diamond" Dave Merritt for his input on this BG. It was fun creating this piece.

I have a couple of ideas for short films based off these images that I wish to flesh out in the near future but as of right now, I can't really do much with them.
